Fun Zones coming to the RCUK 7s

The RCUK Charity 7s is about playing hard both on and off the pitch and having fun. New to the event this year are a number of Fun Zones where players and spectators alike can test out all of their rugby skills, with the winner on each of the four disciplines taking home a really great prize to boot. The four skill tests have been expressly created with rugby in mind and are open to both men and woman, young and old. In fact they are so good that many of the teams may want to use them as part of their warm-up for the Competition!

Radar Rugby

“Quick Ball” is all that Stuart Barnes and the team from Sky ever seem to say. Well although this isn’t about the ball being recycled quickly - it is definitely all about very “Quick” ball. Learn just how fast your pass really is.

Bungee Try Line

Prove just like Lawrence Dallaglio, when he scored his wonder try against Wales at Twickenham a few years ago from a number 8 pick-up, that having three blokes hanging off you is no encumbrance on making the try line.

Intercept the Pass 

Agility, speed of thought and bravery are very much an essential part of the make up of a professional rugby player. Test your aptitude on this great bit of kit

Passing Skills

Test out your side step and passing, both essential elements in the game of sevens and Touch. All you have to do is to swiftly side step through and between three mannequins before completing the perfect pass to the last mannequin. Sounds easy? Why not give it a go!
