Contact Competition

Compete for the prestigious Trafigura Cup with the winning team gaining automatic entry to the "King of 7s" corporate sevens champion decider. Losing semi-finalists compete for the Trafigura Bowl.

Companies will submit a squad of 12, consisting of a minimum of 9 players from their company, with the option for their team to be supplemented by three additional sevens specialist players, bid for by the team and allocated on a highest bid basis. Teams will also have the opportunity to be coached by an elite international rugby player in the weeks leading up to the competition.

Auction of Players

To maximise your company’s chances on the day and add to the fun for your squad, we are giving you the opportunity to bid for up to three players from a number of professional and semi-professional players who have generously made themselves available. Yes, let’s be honest this is your opportunity to buy in some Sevens specialists.

We’ve got some great guys lined up to add some real clout to your team. So dig deep into the corporate coffers to contribute to our charitable effort and you might just transform your team's potential. In this tournament it really will be the most generous company with the best chance of fielding the winning team!

Professional Coaching Sessions

Each team will enjoy the fantastic experience of being coached on a virtually one-to-one basis by an elite International Rugby player. Two one-hour coaching sessions will be available in the weeks leading up to the tournament and, club schedules permitting, further coaching and encouragement on the day itself. Training sessions will take place at Richmond Athletic Ground or a venue of your choice.
