Demelza Pre-Paid Card

M-Cube continues to show commitment to the not-for-profit sector by launching the first charitable Demelza MasterCard® Prepaid Card.

Applications for these cards will be available at the RCUK Charity 7s 2009. These cards are also included ready loaded with £150.00 worth of credit for those entering a team in the RCUK Charity 7s tournament this year.

Demelza Hospice Care for Children was launched in Christmas 1994, by Derek and Jennifer Phillips and named after their beloved daughter, Demelza, who died from a brain tumour at the early age of 24.

Since opening its doors Demelza has offered essential 'free care' to any child with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness, across the South East of England. It recognises the importance of quality of life for each family, and offers a comfortable environment combined with a highly skilled care team. Demelza receives little government funding, however it is continually striving to improve services and expand operations to meet the needs of the children.

To help this cause every Demelza MasterCard Prepaid Card® is issued free of charge, with 100 per cent of the profits generated by the use of the card going to Demelza.

M-Cube aims to generate an annual total of £500,000 to help support this significant charitable initiative.
