Demelza is the only children's residential hospice in Kent, East Sussex and South London providing a wide range of services to life-limited children. One to one care is provided with a team of highly skilled care team members, which include palliative care nurses and assistants.

Demelza needs to raise over £7million per annum just to keep its services running. Demelza relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising. This enables Demelza to run three fantastic services, and provide hospice care to over 570 children every year.

Demelza Kent

Demelza Kent is an 8-bedded children's hospice offering children the opportunity to enjoy residential short breaks (with the option of families staying as well) in beautiful Kent countryside.

Demelza-Community

Demelza-Community provides a hospice at home service for over 150 children in East Sussex, South West Kent and South London with life-threatening and life-limiting illness and their families. The service complements the care offered at Demelza House with the Demelza-James specialist paediatric nurses going directly into the family home to provide care, crisis intervention, an on-call service and respite.

Demelza South East London

Demelza South East London provides a six-bedded children’s hospice. Over 750 children in South East London are estimated to be affected by life limiting conditions and require residential care, hospice at home care, therapy sessions, end-of-life care and bereavement services.
